MyLogon provides the advantages of a server-based logon and centralised data storage to small-business workgroups. It does so without requiring the cost, complexity and maintenance-overhead associated with the Active Directory Domain approach to local networking, as typically required by other small-business networking products. Migration of standalone or workgroup computers into a MyLogon network is extremely simple, and avoids the problems of loss-of-settings and loss-of-access to the user's data commonly experienced when joining standalone computers to an Active Directory Domain.
